     Here we have our final product . We are proud to say with all preliminary exercises and research this is what our final product looks like . Done by yours truly CWJS productions enjoy .This took us about thirty minutes to film in total. We added sound effects, color saturation etc to help adhere to our final film’s genre. Our main character Jazymne has schizophrenia she struggles to fit in with the outside world because she is different . She sees things that are not there at all . This movie shows the challenge of what she has to go through . 

 I am truly grateful to say that I had a great team . We worked hard to get each assigment done to able to pull our final product together. Everyone's work ethic was commendable. From our welcome to media studies blog up until our final product I am amazed to say we did a wonderful job in to pulling our weight as individuals and as a team. 

 For the first draft our movie it was not really a first draft . We were a little behind one filming due to unspoken reasons. We have multiple clips at this moment but we did not combine them together into final draft. This is the clip of the main character having an episode because the girl is not really there. 

Here is when we were recording apart of the outside world in our film. This shows the front of school towards the 500 building this part of the scene plays a major role later on to one of her episodes . Here behind the scenes we were recording her to get mentally prepared to face a monster that is not actually there.

Here in this scene we have one of our supporting characters chasing the main character Jazymne . This is part of her episode where she is chased by a "monster". The outside world in the film can not see the monster but the main character can . The audience can see but he is not actually their . They are part of her subconscious mind.

  Here is apart of our rough draft during production week . We were recording shot 1. The main character jazmyne this was one of her normal scenes before she had an episode . Caron was recording her and the supporting characters helped  direct her. This video clip is a sound on video . It is only edited with color.

  This was one of our final steps in the pre production process . Here we had to define our characters . We had to give the demographics of the main character her age which was 16 , gender which was a female , she was black and sexuality which was homosexual . This was one of the major important parts because this is what the audience see and how the visuals of the main character would connect with the target audience . We also had to give the acting , costume and makeup of the character . Her costume was modern day clothing , no makeup , her hair was in a regular bun .  The general setting of our movie was Piper High School. The landscape was both indoors and outdoors . The tone of the characters were tense . All characters were middle class of the film . The sun was out lightning source and the movie took place during the afternoon . 

  Creating logline is a one sentence summary of your movie that entices someone to read the entire script . Longlines explain the key parts of your screen play - like the main character , inciting incident , central conflict , and antagonist . The goal is to the listener into reading the entire script . The protagonist was a young woman , the inciting incident was her having a schizophrenic episode and the protagonist goal was to feel normal . Our longline was a young woman starts to have a schizophrenic episode , where she just wants to stop and get better , but it keeps happening .  The logline includes the main character , the set up and central conflict . In your logline do not give away your ending , don’t use character’s name , give depth to the character and describe the conflict by revealing stakes . The simple formula is protagonist + inciting incident + protagonist goal + central conflict 

For this particular part of pre production, we had to give a depth version of what our movie is about. Our movie is about a black high girl with Caribbean background who has schizophrenia . Her having a Caribbean background shows how the well known culture of Caribbean people that does not take mental health seriously and how it affects their daily life . Her friend appears dead and begins to chase her which are all apart of her imagination . She goes into a classroom of her school to escape where she sees monster chasing her . Our production manager was rubbing his eyes one day and started to see things that’s how we came up with this idea for our final film .  The movie takes place in modern day America . The main desire of the protagonist is to feel normal so she can blend in with the outside world . She struggles with seeing things that are not visible to the outside world . The sad part she never gets the help she needs and will have to live with this for the rest of her life . He

    Here for this section of our pre-production, our team had to make the executive design to assign roles. We matched the personalities to the roles so the scripts were carried out by the best match. Our main character Jazmyne was perfect for the her role. She has a more chill back, not in the crowd and to herself persona. We all agreed on her being the main character. Camden being a friend and Shante went more for the supporting friends. Also to help the main character to see them but not the outside due to her mental disorder .Caron was our screen writer, director and production manager because he has a passion outside of this course for it.

     For this section of our pre planning we had to give the general information about the film .The title of our movie is Lost Soul. The title came from me because our main character feels lost because of her mental disorder and that she does not fit in with the outside world.The genre of our film is thriller our film was also released in 2023.The movie is for all genders, students. The attitude caters to the audience who have thrilling moments and modern lifestyle. We engaged our audience with sound , plot, acting and camera angles like over head, high angle etc.Our movie can be accessed on Youtube, blogger and twitter. 

  Here our team member Caron came up with the script to assign to all the team members . The script took a total of 2 hours of editing and 1 hour and thirty minutes to plan. We all tried to help to make the script as detailed as possible . Also to give the correct parts to the correct actors . We matched the personalities and gave lines to who could carry out it the best . We all tried each other’s parts to help make it easier when filming and everyone knew their role .
