Preliminary Exercise:Camera Work /Camera framing

Lastly camera framing was left for us to do . This part of the the preliminary exercise allowed us to feel like actual photographers . Due to how we had to position the camera to get the characteristics correct . But what is camera framing and why do we need it ? Camera framing is the placement and position of the subjects in your shot . Out of all the main camera work key shots camera framing had to have the subjects visible more than any of the shots.

The camera framing examples are one shot , two shot , three shot , crowd shot , point of view and insert shot . One shot is when one subject is visible in the frame  . Two shot is two subjects visible on the frame , three shot is three subjects visible in the frame , crowd shot is when multiple subjects are visible in the frame that can not usually be counted . Point of view  shot shows what the character is looking at from a perspective  .Over the shoulder shot is where the camera angle is placed above the shoulder and head of the subject .
