Preliminary Exercise: Introduction to Sound

Sounds are known to evoke emotion the audience. It changes the emotional or physical status of a character. Sound design is a process of experimentation to create an audio environment that supports the on -screen action and engages the audience. The true sound designer is constantly listening, learning and experimenting. Sound engineers realize the audio world of a film to to enhance the mood, atmosphere, and or tone.It is the final and most important element needed to create an immersive     experience for the audience. Sound is everything you hear when watching a film. Sound illustrates the psychological thoughts of a character. It can change the emotional and physical status of a character. Sound is what truly convinces the mind that it is a place. It enhances the movie world and provides cues to the audience of what is to happen next.

 This week our teacher assigned us to produce a 3-7sec videos illustrating the six Camera Movement .Techniques selected by our group from the Camera Movement story board.Camera movement is a filmmaking technique that causes a change in frame or perspective through the movement of the camera .Each team member had a job description and demonstrated the skill and responsibility. Our team had to establish MISE EN SCENE Elements in the videos. Creative Critical Reflection

 Here is my critical reflection which I tried to use into  a movie theatre template. I aimed for a premiere for the rich people could see before our film actually hit the media . The slides have the background information on posters about the making of our movie sit back and enjoy. It was a wonderful experience being able to reflect back on my movie. Overall this movie was the best for our limited time and resources .  Our teacher helped so much with in class lectures to complete the final film .       Camera Composition refers to way the elements of a scene are arranged in a camera frame. The composition impacts the way the film is perceived by others. A camera composition is the rule of thirds. The rule of thirds is grid is formed by four lines two vertical and two horizontal placed at an equal distance from each other and the photo edges. It is a guideline stating you should position compositional elements along your gridlines and that the focal point of your composition. Another composition is the leading lines. Leading lines direct the viewer through an image.They guide the eye through the image. Leading lines can be present or implied , and they can be straight or curved.      Color is a key consideration for composition in photography. Complementary colors are used to contrast and make your subject stand put . It helps bring together unrelated elements that are united a color scheme.
